that's probably true. I was doing tighter targeting than that on some ads, but still the highest CTR I was able to get was .038%.

Just as a general rule, if you're "hitting 30 million users with each ad" then you are not "doing some fairly specific targeting". It's one or the other.

I'm getting crap for impressions, and I'm bidding well within the suggested range (and in one case higher). I'm not laser-targeting but I am doing some fairly specific targeting and hitting at least 30 million users with each ad. What the heck am I doing wrong?

Hey Justin - good post. Trying a little facebook & wondering how I can get hooked up with an ad rep.

I remember someone from Facebook either on WF, a FB email, or somewhere else where a rep popped on there and said they would get people hooked up, but can't find that anywhere. Sent FB an email on the subject and was ignored.

I know this will sound like a stupid question but the only way to learn is to test or ask. How do you know when you've burned through a demographic. I'd assume when you stop getting clicks. But assuming sucks.

On the other side of the original question, what size demographic do you consider to be "too large"?

Thanks for this post!
