Originally, we were going to give away either a 25.5″ Samsung computer monitor or a brand-spankin’ new top of the line netboot away by now. Unfortunately, we don’t have many active participants. I want people to get more active in promoting the offers, and will extend this contest another month till the end of July. This should give all you kiddies more than enough time to actually start hoping on board and make yourself some money. On top of this, the winner will also recieve 100% of the affiliate commissions I make from all my referals since the begining of June.
So how is it going so far? Well, so far we’ve got 30 affiliates signed up and ready to win! Together, you’ve done $360 in commissions. That’s not as much as I was hoping, especially with these tips I’m handing out! (By the way, with dating offers like these listed in the post, I’ve made about $100,000+ in revenue in the past year with Facebook alone… something to think about for those that aren’t sure about the stability of the niche. My latest experiments with dating have netter me $1,500+ rev. days. I know people doing $50K a day on single offers, direct linking through media buys! Crazy stuff!).
In order to put more incentive into participating, I will be letting my designer do up some landing pages for some of Tatto Media’s offers and releasing them 100% free! For those that don’t know how to design or what to put on an affiliate LP, this will be your chance to get in on the game with very little work. Expect one by the end of the week!

I’m SO glad I didn’t take part in this bullshit blogs contest but do feel bad about the “30 people” who did. Is Tatto fine with you making up the rules as you go? They are fine with you dragging their name down with your lame ass “contest?”
How about you award the laptop/monitor like you said you were going to, admit you fucking suck at promotion and never have a contest again. Or at the least, finish this contest since it’s over…according to the rules and then if you think you can get more attention go ahead and start a new one for July…not drag this one out for yet another lame month.
Who gives a shit if you offer up the commissions. Those noobs that took part took the time to sign up and follow YOUR rules. it’s not their fault they suck and can’t make you proud or give Tatto enough traffic to warrant giving away a prize but that is YOUR fault, not the noobs and not Tattos. But you don’t just “fix” that by extending a contest and making up the rules as you go.
If I were any of those 30 people I’d be writing/calling Tatto and giving them a fucking shitstorm for this bullshit because it’s making them look bad too.
Hey, I gots an idea, how about you man the fuck up and pony up the prize yourself since it was your contest and that way Tatto doesn’t lose out on the lame traffic and you don’t go and fuck over those that took the time to do your stupid contest.
Can’t wait till widkedfire gets ahold of this shit. God knows they need another lame ass wannabe marketer screwing over noobs.

Ahh damn. I came to check for an update hoping I got lucky an won even though I’m sucking at actually making any money lol.
Sucks you decided to extend it…mostly because it means more people = less odds of winning and those that actually got in early might get screwed if someone new joins and wins lol. But I can understand wanting to hold out so down for it.
Thanks much for the landing page too! You posted it a while back…have you had a chance to test it since then? Anyone having any luck with it yet? Dumb questions but if we all get on facebook and run the same offer with the same landing page won’t it make it even harder to make a profit from it? I realize we could take the landing page to other traffic sources but I’m losing my arse so far with yahoo/google/msn tests lol. Already lost $300 (spend/invested? lol) or so and haven’t gotten one conversions. Sucks, by the time I’m done TRYING to make money so I can win I’ll spend enough that I could have just bought a netbook instead hahaha.
Pretty much broke and done with my “budget” for the month already but maybe I’ll be able to find some more cash to give it another try.
