Sponsored Post: White Fire Media Affiliate Network

Posted on October 1st, 2009 By Under Affiliate Networks

affiliate-marketing-white-fire-mediaYeah, sorry, I’m gonna sell out for the sake of my benefit. Monies! Just a couple about this and all sponsored posts: these companies are paying me to write a review about their product or service. Everything is from my mouth, and if you want me to review a shitty product I’m gonna tell you and all my readers it’s a shitty product. Actually, I won’t even take the time to waste my readers time. So don’t spam your shitty ebooks in my email asking for me to help you promote them.? Anyways, here’s a sponsored post about White Fire, a small start-up affiliate market and what I think about it.

White Fire Media is a new CPA affiliate network out there, among thousands, trying to make its way up the pack into another Advaliant or Convert2Media.? Thankfully, they aren’t trying to look like your average ever other day affiliate network. Looks like they’ve actually spent some time and money on their webpage and design. We likes that.

To get some more information from the them I asked Affiliate Manager Josh Galligan a couple simple questions about White Fire Media network – “Why do you think affiliates should work with you guys, a newer network, rather than some of the more established CPA networks? And what sets you apart from everyone else?” His reply turned out more like a novel, but here you go:

“Well, we?re certainly not going to try and pretend like we?re the next big thing in terms of affiliate networks. Pretty much every single affiliate network has claimed that it?s the best and offers the best service when it launched. And it?s not like they?re lying ? I think that they all do this because, in a perfect world, that?s exactly what networks WANT themselves to be like.

Whether or not that network actually proves these statements to be true is another matter. But yes, we do think that we offer some great services and yes, we do think that we can help out and manage our affiliates just as well as the next network. It?s well-documented that I?m incredibly passionate about this industry ? I?ve been busting my ass to try and improve the content/writing sub-industry for the past year and a half ? and owner Jeff Cox is just as obsessed. We both eat, sleep, and breathe this industry and we both know what it?s like to be at the starting line. We realize that the majority of our affiliates are going to have no idea what in the world they?re doing ? and that?s fine.

We?re perfectly ready and capable to guide them by the hand into money-making territory. As for the more well-experienced, veteran affiliates, well, we?re here to service any of their needs as well. Those needs tend to be more about getting paid on time and getting the offers that they want, WHEN they want them ? but we?re just as up for servicing those types of needs as well.

What really sets our network apart from the competition though is that I?ve decided to put my professional Affiliate Marketing content skills to good use. For any affiliates that join White Fire and need help content-wise with a landing page (or other basic, one-page site), I?m going to write that content (per request) 100% free. I usually charge in the area of $4.00 per 100 words, so it?s proven to be quality and it?s proven to be popular in the industry. It?s also proven to be expensive, which makes this stipulation of our network that much more intriguing.

That alone should get affiliates to work with us, but quite honestly, we?re hungry and we?re willing to work as much as possible to get fed. Both Jeff Cox and I have climbed our way up the industry ladder the hard-way, rung-by-rung. So we know that we?re A) Not entitled to absolutely anything and B) Are not going to get anything on this network side of things easily. But just like all of the other obstacles that blocked our paths thus far, the question isn?t whether we?ll succeed ? the question is when?”

Good enough. And yes, I do know Josh, and yes, his content is very good, top notch shit. Some of the top offers I’ve run through landing pages used Josh’s writing, and they converted like cheese and crackers in your mouth. Or some other stupid saying. So free content when you push some revenue to their network sounds like a golden opportunity to start split testing already.

Taking a look inside, they’re run on LinkTrust, which in my opinion is much better than DirectTrack that a lot of other networks run. It allows easy placement of pixels, organization and easy stat retrieval. All looks good and normal. Featured offers, News and Events are listed, Total revenue information and your affiliate manager contact info is there for easy access.

Let’s take a look at offers (browsing as I’m typing here!). They’ve got a really wide range of offers that aren’t your Netflix or Blockbuster, DirectTV offers that every other network puts on their home page as featured advertisers. This is a good thing. Diet, insurance, dating, financial, and several other niches are all here. They’ve even got an e-cig offer up which is just getting popular now. White Fire has got a lot of offers that other networks have, but that’s not a bad thing. I’m sure as the network grows they’ll be able to get dibs on some nice exclusives.

Payouts are set at pretty fair streets, as well. Ask your affiliate manager for bumps and I’m sure they’ll hook you up with what you need.

One thing I liked was I was approved within 10 minutes without asking for it. They are going to be paying attention to new affiliates and giving you what you need to advance.

Overall, if Jeff and Josh can keep their words on what they plan to offer with White Fire, they should be building up a decent team and network to provide what affiliates need. If you are interested in checking them out, you can sign up for them at this link by clicking here.

You can never join too many networks, so go and check this one out to see what you can start making money on now.

Just signed up this week and just like you, I got approved within 10minutes,

awesome staff I talked to both Jeff and Josh and they're really helping their publishers!!! I highly recommend White Fire, no doubt about it!!!

Now here's my question. Why should I choose to run my campagins with WhiteFire. Simply the fact that you offer content for free (normally costing only .04 a word) is supposed to make me want to join your network?

What really sets you a part. What in PERTICULAR sets you apart. For instance, ONE REASON I ABSOLUTELY ADORE NeverBlue is their rediculous range in products. I'm an ethical affiliate, and I don't like to run "run-of-the-mill" scammy rebills. I care about my karma. So why should I go with you guys if you just have the same crappy offers as everyone else?

I'm a pretty new affiliate, not that new, but definitely no Justin Dupre or Volk. So yes, a little hand holding would be nice, but what exactly do you mean by hand holding. Will you show me "ethical offers" and give me advice on how to promote them. Will you look at my landing page ad give me advice on how to improve it, how to increase versions, and how to expand. WHAT REALLY SETS YOU APART.

But at some point you have to realize that eventually affiliate get pretty independent and stop needing their affiliate managers. All of mine have been crap and I don't even understand the need of having them besides sending me annoying rebill filled NEW OFFER emails. So it does really come down to offers in offbeat (cool to get into, not satured) markets that are ethical for me. It comes out to a high payout right off the bat, it comes out to knowing you'll be paid regardless of if the advertiser comes through. Do you guys really have the backing to payout a 6 or 5 figure a day affiliate if your advertiser dissapears? I'm not so much interested in your content writing, even though I guess that could be called a bonus. Again, WHAT REALLY SETS YOU APART?

I'll give examples: Motive has a nice interface and some okay offers, but they mostly follow the crowd

Those are all really solid points. And if we can get Jeff or Josh to come reply to that, that would be great!

  3. Nigel says:

    Hey Justin,

Just signed up under you. Not new to IM but still, a little help from Jeff or Josh would be great.

How are you doing in Bangkok?

I'm going there in November :)

  4. Thanks for the response Jake. Like Justin said, you make some good points, so I shall answer them.

To start off, I could have went on a lot more but I'm pretty sure Justin would have throttled me for turning the post into the Internet Marketing version of War and Peace. Fortunately, we have these here comments to keep the fun going.

I don't expect people to want to join our network solely because we're offering free content — that's just a plus. It's kind of become a tongue-in-cheek type joke that basically ALL affiliate networks say the EXACT same thing when they launch. Like I said in the post, I think every network starts out with good intentions, but during the crucible that follows a launch and entails around 18+ hour work days — that's where some networks flounder and some do not. Every network talks the talk when they launch — they'd be an absolute idiot not to do so — it's all about whether they can walk the walk afterward. And yes, I realize that was the corniest possible analogy I probably could have made… :P

We're not giving away free content because we think it's going to get people to join with us. We're giving away from content because A) We can, B) It will be very helpful and cost-effective for our affiliates, and C) Because it's also going to help us out as well. But if you think I'm not going to try to point out how we're probably the only Affiliate Network to be giving out free content in the first few days of our launch — when that is PRECISELY the thing that separates us from the normal upstart networks — than you're crazy. Why in the world should we remain mum about that when I can damn near guarantee you it'll be some of the best damn content you've ever received in your Affiliate Marketing life.

I'm glad to hear that you don't enjoy selling people rebills, and you'll be pleased to know that we've got a vast range of the best sub-brokered offers from all around the Affiliate Network land. If you don't see anything that you like or want to run, then ask me, and Jeff and I will do everything humanly possible to get that offer for you. Whether you choose to believe what I'm saying as truth or not is up to you. Despite the fact that the vast majority of start-up Affiliate Networks crash and burn, there are still some that make it through the trial of CPA fire and just keep going on up.

Should you believe us when we predict that we'll do everything we can to make this work? No. I wouldn't even believe someone if they said that. And that's fine. If you like what you've heard from us thus far, then sign up and see what we're all about. If not, then by all means, wait it out and see if we're still standing strong in a couple of weeks or months. If we're not, I'll be the first one to up and make fun of myself for not making it through. But it's going to take something damn near catastrophic for me to finally give up on this whole thing.

I know that some people are going to require hand holding and basic topic explanations while other people are going to just require me to tell them how sick their new BMW is. Trust me, I have no problem doing either.

I guess what I've been meaning to try and say is, it's a complete and utter waste of time for me to sit here and explain what sets us apart. There's nothing that I can say that hasn't been said before or will be said again. And there's nothing too impressive I could say that would likely get anyone here to believe me. The free content sets us apart a bit, sure. But that's not all we're about.

In conclusion, I guess the best thing that I could say is that I'm dedicated and driven to make this a success. And not only that, but to make it a success for all of our affiliates. If you need a lot of help and need me to pull an all-nighter with you to get you on the right track — I'll do it. If you want to call me at 3am because you're frigging sloshed and want to talk to someone then I'll pick up. I'll be fucking bullshit at you, but I'll pick up. Unless I'm getting laid or something. Then you're just shit out of luck, bro.

I could literally go on for another two hours with all of the stuff that's in my head right now — because there's a lot of it. The best advice I could give if you're an Affiliate Marketer who's on the fence about joining up with us — hit either me or Jeff up on AIM. WhiteFireJeff and WhiteFireJosh. Hey, I just realized both of our name begins with J. Huh. Or hit me up on AIM and ask for my cell number and I'll talk to you for however long you want as long as it doesn't interfere with my other obligations.

Other than that, I've got nothing else really. Hopefully I've answered all of your questions, thanks again for asking them (and giving me the opportunity to explain some more) and hit one of us up if you've got anything else. Or just post it here, I'm sure Justin don't mind all these long ass comments on his posts. :P
