Keep Your Berries Out of One Basket

Acai berrys have been running magnificently for the past month or two. However, in the past few weeks I’ve noticed spirals going down in numbers, 1) as competition grew and 2) as caps have been put on many of the offers affiliates are using. One offer, Acai Berry Power 500 (which can be found on A4D) was running without a cap while others weren’t. I was banking off of this, and several of my referral were as well, and still are. However, as of today, we have to now run these campaigns with a limit.

It used to bring in up to 12K leads a day. The cap is now being set at 4K. While this is only temporary as the mother company pulls themselves together and upgrades their warehouses, this is a significant cut which could last a couple weeks and seriously inhibit some peoples earning potential, including my own. For those that haven’t been building other campaigns, shame on you, and thats too bad because you may be having to dig around for new solutions to fill up your pockets in the coming days.

It’s always a good idea to build new campaigns while you manage other ones. Your largest campaign could get the Google slap, advertiser’s withdrawl, or just die for no reason any day. Making sure you spread out your portfolio of campaigns across several niches is necessary and essential for the successful long term Internet marketer.

You don’t even have to stick to mainstream niches like ringtones, dating, crush, mobile, diet, and financial offers either. My longest running campaign is completely out of the box and has so few competitors that I don’t really have to worry about it dieing until someone else catches on (which I don’t see happening for a long, long time). Think outside the box and test small offers out from CJ and Clickbank.Experimentation is key, and stick withit until you are positive it is an absolute loser.

  1. Yep, diversifying is the key to a long-term success.

  2. Do you the best thing would be to pause the campaign until the caps are lifted? This is the first full day I’ll be running on the capped offers so it will be interesting to see the outcome.
