Sohan raised a question over at Wickedfire questioning whether or not Facebook is over counting clicks. Comparing the data from Facebook and the data on his Prosper202 tracking, the click-counts weren’t at an equal amount (Facebook obviously counting more clicks). If this is true, then we’d know Facebook isn’t playing a very fair game with us.
MyAds from Myspace had this same problem and they didn’t seem to give a shit about the advertisers that used them. On many days, I would be overcharged about 20-30% (On some days, nearly $500). That wipes out a lot of ROI… A LOT! Any inquiries to the team at Myspace about this and they’d give you some canned response saying they can’t help you. It took about 20 emails and constant persistence to finally get help, and even then they didn’t do much. In the end I was still down more money than I should have been.
Will Facebook try this same tactic to squeeze out a few more cents? Well, they already do. They count multiple clicks on the same ad from the same IP up to (apparently) 5 times. It certainly isn’t fair to the advertiser that this is done, but I guess we’ve got to play by Facebook’s rules if we want to play at all.
Make sure you are running all your traffic through some tracking software (if you don’t have your own hosting, just use Tracking202). You can then compare numbers on Facebook and your tracking. While anyone has yet to say whether or not they will get refunded for any extra clicks, it is worth it to at least raise the issue with your Facebook Ads Manager (let me know if you don’t have one yet) or Facebook themself with this collected data and screencaps in hand.

I don't know if they are charging me clicks that I don't get, but they sure charge for multiple clicks. Almost 10-15% of my clicks are not unique.
Facebooks "days" and my p202 days don't match because of the time zones. So some clicks don't match because of that. That's really the only difference I noticed.
I have been sending numerous emails re: this issue: My campaign was scheduled on Rome (Italy) time to run until 3am DEC 12TH. That signifies 9pm Pacific Time on the day BEFORE, Dec 11TH.
They post that all stats are in Pacific Time.
All billing is also showing Pacific Time.
And, they billed me for all of DEC 12TH until like 3pm.
They refuse to budge saying that "The stats posted – insights have nothing to do with the billing which was, of course, Italian time"
That's a load of crap. And they know it.
Unfortunately, because I'm in Rome, they've put me onto their Italian Customer DISservice – where Italians practice the Customer is Never Right form (It's a Chapter in my book)…It's in their DNA. So, I've gotten nowhere.

Facebook overcharged my account on three different days in the amount of 7 bucks,I only bought a dollar gift on one of those days. I called the number on my bank statement and got a machine saying to leave a message and my credit info. They never called me back!
Facebook are ripping advertisers off. I log all my clicks and there are huge discrepancies to what Facebook is charging. I even monitored the whole event for a whole day once and Facebook reported and charged for 31 clicks when in fact there were only 13. I had spent hundred of dollars with these fucking cock sucking ass holes and this is the respect the are showing. Of course I emailed them but got nothing but evasive answers.
