I’ve been thinking about the pricing on my landing pages I offer in my affiliate marketplace. I’m currently charging $5 for everything (except custom landing pages and other work). I’ve tried higher prices before, and generated some sales, but I’m not sure if I should try again.
Before bumping any prices, I want to know what you think. How much are you willing to pay for each item? Fill out the poll below and help me find a good price point.

$5 is perfect, I am going to buy another one right now. any more I would probably swipe a free one off a tracker, but I think 5 is about the most you can charge without making people take the time to get it off a “free” site —its a time/convenience vs cost thing (economics)….

If you’re doing this to make money off them, then raise the price. If you’re doing this to give back to the community, then leave them cheap. Just my humble opinion

with more of these services you’ll see more noobs which in turn means more competition, lower margins

$5 lps to a target audience of like 1-3K

Differentiate… Give crappier ones away for free with link “Designed by bla bla” at the bottom which cannot be removed unless they pay and charge the whole bunch for all the good ones/hot niche ones.

where’s 9000 ?

It’s time to pimp your junk on forums now Justin…wheee.
Other than that, I’d say $15 a piece. Noobs pay 5x the price all the time for crappier LPs. I’ve seen it and I’ve done it.
tom
You should keep them at $5. However i think you should have a more premium selection that offers premium landing pages for like $10-$15
George
I think $10-$15 for standard landing pages and more for premium
jonas
i think $5 is perfect but would be nice with some different prices for more pro versions

Nothing, you just rip them from others so who gives a fuck.

Who’s your informant? I guess you know all my secrets… Dammit! [/sarcasm]

The LPs are clean and simple. $5 sounds right. Consider more glossy premium LPs though

Simple provide a landing that has REAL value and not just SLICK designs that doesn’t convert into CASH.. and it wouldn’t matter how much is costs!
PPV landing page #1
PPV optin page (that has proof) of a at least %10 conversion (views to leads). I am willing to pay $100-$200 each for this!
PPV landing page #2
PPV optin page with slick design (NO PROOF of conversion) selling at $1 each.
Kindly tell me what people would buy and end up making you more money???

I don’t sell landing pages I’ve used before, because I don’t want to a) give up a landing page to everyone that is converting 10% on PPV to an email opt-in (I would pay A LOT more than a couple hundred bucks for that), and B) if I do use an LP I sell and I know it turns out like crap, well then I’m not exactly providing quality to my customers, am I. My designer simply makes many more landing pages than I can stand to build campaigns for so I put up the ones I opt not to use, and I don’t dump things up there I think are crap – I have my own system of weeding things out instead of selling BS for an extra 5 bucks a day.
However, they are made by my designer who has given me a lot of really well performing landing pages.
In the end, conversion rates aren’t all up to the design. Ad copy, copy layout, targeting, and offer… these all probably play a more important role (assuming you don’t have a landing page designed with crayons) in the whole picture than the design.
