Don’t Have A Blackberry Bold Yet? Get One Now!

internet-marketing-with-blackberry-boldI simply love this phone. The Blackberry Bold is a masterpiece in all aspects. It’s got quad-band, wi-fi, and 3g to boot meaning I can connect to the world from anywhere in the world. And seeing that all my work is run through the Internet, I can always see and update anything on the fly even while I’m watching a movie at one of Bangkok’s malls.

The connectivity behind this phone is key to a lot of my success. I can download some of Google’s apps directly to the phone to access e-mail and my RSS feeds with a click of the handy scrollball. Having G-Mail right there is a huge help, and has literally saved me thousands of dollars.

One instance where it helped me save money was when one of the offers I was spending at least a few hundred dollars on in one day was immediately pulled from the network. It was midnight and I was at the club drinking and dancing with some friends. My affiliate manager buzzed me an email to pause traffic immediately because he knew I was balling with it. I was lucky enough to pull the phone out and check my G-Mail to read that. I told my friends I’d be back in 5 minutes, ran to a 24-hour internet caf? around the corner, paused my traffic, and was back to partying. Thanks Blackberry!

On top of the business aspect of all the features that come loaded on the Bold, it’s a fun phone to have. The camera shoots decent pictures, and I can always chat a storm up with my friends on AIM, MSN/Live, Yahoo, and Blackberry Messenger. Load this up with an unlimited data plan for 30 bucks a month when you can’t access 3G or Wi-Fi and you are set for global domination.

Seriously, if you are thinking about buying a business phone, don’t look anywhere else. It’s got all the features to stay connected to your websites and stats, and you’ll have a lot of fun with it using all the apps available for download. On top of that, you don’t have to worry about smudging up your crappy touch screen (huffs at iPhone users).

  1. I was thinking about getting this phone for work instead of the iphone. The iphone is more for play / fun.

    Thanks for the review

I went with the iPhone like Jon too. It works well with p202 and the browser shits on the bold. Bold's keyboard is nicer though by far.

The blackberry cant handle JS too well, whereas iphone can. So with the iphone you can log into shit an pause it there an there instead of going to a web cafe!

3G in Thailand? You gotta be joking mate.

Your main point is spot though, BlackBerry is the device for anyone using the internet for work – there is no comparison.

Thanks for a great post. I've been trying to decide between the bold and iPhone. The iPhone app store is pretty sweet, but I've heard that Blackberry is going to be launching something similiar. I think I'll go with the bold.

Is it possible to get 3G in Bangkok?
