Here are questions and answers from the previous post. I was planning on doing this a couple days ago, but I’ve been out like… 20 times this week and now I’m sick. Perfect. Anyways, here you go:

spyderman4g63: Have you tried Acai Berry, and does it cause weight loss?

That is one that I haven’t tried yet, but I’m sure I would if I saw it some place in Thailand. Purple stuff has gotta be fruity and delicious… like blueberries and shit like that. As far as losing weight? According to that sponsored website on Google, YES IT WILL MAKE YOU LOSE 20 POUNDS IN 3.439 HOURS (results may vary).

Buddy: Hey, I finally signed up for A4D. On Facebook, the keywords confuse me. I mean, its a social network, so people aren’t going to be typing in like, “acai berry, ringtones, weight loss, how to lose weight.” People are going to be typing in their friends name, right? Do you ever use the keywords option or you just strictly do demographic? I don’t understand what I would enter in the keywords.

I forgot to add this. Where do you suggest to buy domain names/hosting. Do you buy the domain name and hosting from two different companies? I use namecheap.com and godaddy.com. But I am not pleased with namecheap. What do you use Justin?

Sorry about not getting back to your emails, Buddy. My outgoing mailbox server is a bitch and never connects, ever. Seriously… I have an email in my box addressed to you for the past week, it still won’t send out. If I want to send out anything, I have to log into webmail and I’m too lazy to do that cause the interface is shit. Answers:

I hardly ever use keywords, although sometimes it can be helpful. Say you are promoting a real product like a new movie about zombies. You could use keywords like 28 Days Later or some other horror flick movie names to target the right audience. In most cases, however, I just use demographics. Its a larger audience to target so I might be able to get more sales/leads.

You can find reviews on hosting. You shouldn’t really go with shared hosting for IM because shared hosts like to fail a lot. That can really hurt you if you send 1000 clicks in and find out your site is down due to the surge of traffic (yup.. its happened to me). That’s why I got hooked up on WiredTree with a managed Virtual Private Server. I don’t know jack shit about servers, so the managed option was excellent. I don’t think I’ve had any downtime with them, and their support is excellent (all emails answered within 15 minutes). As far as domains, I just use NameCheap and point the DNS to my VPS at WiredTree. I’ve heard good things about Moniker for domains, too.

Aditya: Do you increase your CPC on new ads to reach the suggested bids? My 4 months ads are rolling with $0.2 CPC but my new ads with $0.35 CPC just won’t run at all. The suggested bids has finally been fixed today (it was broken for the past few days) and it shows $0.8 wtf.

Yeah I noticed the suggested bid jump a shitload, too. I asked Facebook about it, but it seems they are either ignoring me or replying to a bunch of other bitchy marketers like me. Myspace is starting to look a lot better if this keeps up. I’ll keep testing FB out, but it seems with these 3 – 4x increased click prices, I’ll need some bigger payouts if I actually plan to stay on there.

Questions answered. If you got anymore feel free to jump me on MSN at hyperion_xl at yahoo dot com or AIM at absoluterct. If you need help with a campaign, make sure you have an offer picked out on a network that you signed up with under my referal link. That way I can help us both make money… mmmmmkay.

Ooo. New in the news. I got me a BlackBerry finally. It’s not the new BlackBerry Bold, unfortunatly, as they haven’t released them in Thailand yet (if they ever will). It’s the Curve, which works almost the same. Gotta say I’m glad I got it over an iPhone. No ugly smears on the screen or anything like that. It’s got messenger, wi-fi access, maps, and a sexy camera. Definetly pleased. Should be nice to browse the net rather than listen to my teachers blab. Hehe
