A lot of you requested I post tips about gaining opt-ins to your mailing list. So here you go. This has helped bump my opt-in conversion rates an extra few percent which really means a lot more money down the line. Let’s get to it.
Try making it an obvious step by step procedure for the user. People like being led, especially people that will convert on crappy CPA offers. Lead them through the sign-up process. Step 1: Enter your email address. Step 2: Confirm your email address in the link provided. Step 3: Download this crappy ebook I wrote, then buy the stuff from the affiliate links stuffed in there.
It’s pretty much that simple (remove the hints of sarcasm, though). It’s a quick, simple, dirty trick that I guarantee will increase your opt-in rates! Now get your Aweber account and start hustlin!

Hey Justin, here's a quicky that I have been testing too. I have this thin browser "Free Software" package that I'll let them download in exchange for their name and email… High value stuff (more sarcasm).
The thin browser is really just a web browser that when launched only will open one web page that has the info i'm giving away on it. That way I can switch up the information on the page and it applies to all those little one page web browsers that are floating around out there.
